SERVICE POLICIES
Service Policies
Please be on time for your scheduled appointment
Appointments are canceled after 15 mins.
For Sisterlocks and Interlock maintenance and installation appointments, cancellations or rescheduling requires a 24-hour advance notice.
For Sisterlock and Interlock installations, a $200.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required when you schedule your appointment.
A deposit is required to book all appointments. This deposit is non refundable and non transferable. The amount is applied to the overall cost of the appointment.
Retightening Time & Care Policy
Retightening appointments are scheduled based on an average level of maintenance and hair condition. Clients who wash frequently between visits or experience excess slippage may require additional corrective work, which can extend appointment time.
Please note:
Appointments that exceed the scheduled time due to excess loose hair, slippage, correction needs, or pattern adjustments will be billed at $100 per hour, in addition to the flat-rate service.
Hair must be clean and shampooed 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Payment
Square, Zelle, Cashapp and PayPal
*Prices vary based on density, texture and length of hair. Payment is required upon completion of same-day services. For services requiring multiple days (i.e. Sisterlocks/Brotherlocks), the balance is to be paid in two payments: half on the first day and the remaining half upon arrival of the 2nd day.

All 3 parts are mandatory and crucial to a successful start in your Sisterlock Journey.

CONSULTATION
Sisterlocks Consulation
The first and most important process of your complete Sisterlocks Package is the consultation. During this 60 minute session we will accomplish many things. First, it will allow me to get to know you and your hair. We will also discuss any expectations you may have of me as your Sisterlocks Consultant and the process as a whole.
The consultation is tailored to YOU and YOUR specific hair type. Together we will discuss:
Why you want Sisterlocks.
What does your family think about you “considering” Sisterlocks.
What have you learned or researched about Sisterlocks.
You may ask me any questions you have.
During this consultation, between 6-12 sample Sisterlocks will be installed. This is to give you, the client an opportunity to get a feel for what it’s like to wear, maintain, and care for Sisterlocks on a daily basis.

Sisterlocks Installation
After a completed consultation, we will begin your Sisterlocks installation at a pre-determined appointment.
For Sisterlock and Interlock installations, a $200.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required two days after scheduling your appointment. Payment is required upon completion of services. For services requiring multiple days, full payment is required at the end of the service on the first day.
Preparation
Just as an artist uses blank canvas to create beautiful works of art, a Sisterlocks Consultant must begin installation on a clean and healthy head of hair. To ensure the most successful installation, please adhere to the following guidelines beforehand:

Wash your hair 24 to 48 hours beforehand.

Ensure your hair is free of oils and conditioners.

Sisterlocks Maintenance / Follow-Up

The complete Sisterlocks Package includes the following:

A 3-week follow-up where I will examine your Sisterlocks to inspect for slippage and overall health of Sisterlocks

You will be given a Sisterlocks Starter Kit.
This is a private session, please understand no guests are allowed to accompany clients during services. We will be together for several hours at a time, we must do everything possible to ensure the process is a pleasurable and enjoyable experience for both of us.
SISTERLOCKS™ & MICROLOCKS CONSULTATION
$50.00

During this consultation, sample Sisterlocks or Microlocks will be installed. This is to give you, the client an opportunity to get a feel for what it’s like to wear, maintain, and care for Sisterlocks on a daily basis. In other words, “Try Before You Buy!”.
COST OF SISTERLOCKS™ ESTABLISHMENT: HAIR LENGTH 4 INCHES AND SHORTER
$1600.00
For Sisterlocks clients with hair 4 inches or shorter, fees start at $1600.00. Sisterlocks clients with longer hair are charged an extra $100 for every inch of hair longer than 4 inches. For example, if your hair is 6 inches long, the estimated cost is $1800.00 (1600+100+100). This is an estimate. Actual prices will be determined during the consultation.
COST OF MICROLOCKS ESTABLISHMENT: HAIR LENGTH 4 INCHES AND SHORTER
$1100.00
For Microlocks clients with hair 4 inches or shorter, fees start at $1100.00. Microlocks clients with longer hair are charged an extra $100 for every inch of hair longer than 4 inches. For example, if your hair is 6 inches long, the estimated cost is $1300.00 (1100+100+100). This is an estimate. Actual prices will be determined during the consultation.
SISTERLOCKS RETIGHTENING
$155.00 for 3-5 weeks
$180.00 for 6-8 weeks
$315.00 for 9+ weeks
To ensure a healthy Sisterlocks journey, we ask that you schedule monthly maintenance appointments every 3-5 or 6-8 weeks.
This maintenance appointment keeps your Sisterlocks healthy, balanced, and thriving. For best results, clients are encouraged to add a shampoo and/or style to support scalp health and prolong the life of your retightening.

SISTERLOCKS CORRECTION
$75.00 per hour
As the hair begins the locking process, slippage is likely. Washing the hair, exercising and other impactful lifestyle activities can cause the hair to loosen, which results in slippage. The correction process addresses this and ensures a healthy loc.
PARTIAL RE-INSTALL
$100 per hour
Please only book this if a good portion of your locs have unraveled due to improper maintenance.
LOC SPRINKLES
$10 per loc
Loc sprinkles are a beautiful addition to mature Sisterlocks. These cannot be installed on new Sisterlocks.
STYLE

Appointments should conclude within 2.5 hours. Appointments that require more time will be charged an additional $45/hr on top of the charged rate.
